The New Altrok Radio Brings Modern Rock Back To The Jersey Shore (And Beyond)
The good news is: we're growing. Altrok Radio, having been reborn in a more portable and very much more commercial-free manner as Altrok 90.5 HD2, is showing a lot more listenership - but that doesn't mean we're maxed out, and that means you can take advantage of our frankly incredible stream of new modern rock and alternative classics.
For instance, here's our last few tracks...
999 - Homicide
Hard 'n' Phirm - Rodeohead
Dum Dum Girls - Jail La La
Franz Ferdinand - Cheating On You
Bamboos, The - On The Sly
Pretenders, The - Kid
Fanfarlo - Harold T. Wilkins, Or How To Wait For A Very Long Time
I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness - When You Go Out
The White Stripes – My Doorbell
Malin, Jesse & The St Marks Social – Burning The Bowery
Oingo Boingo – Ain't This the Life
...which is to say that, basically, you'll hear challenging tracks, familiar tracks, new tracks, classic tracks...basically, a lot of really great Modern Rock tracks.
And we do it 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you want to join us, pick a stream at our listen page, and remember you'll be doing so with our thanks (but without any commercials.)
Or, even better - if you're actually somewhere near our transmitter, why not listen in on HD radio? We won't *know* you're listening, but that's okay - we just want to make sure you get the chance.
