Eighties Friday...featuring DJ Shred!
Folks,
You might like this...it's in CD quality MP3Pro, it's full of the music we had available in the 80's, and it's on all day and through the night - just click on the Altrok Radio link to start listening.
Got a slow connection? We've put it up for you in glorious mono as well - check the "slower connections" link on the right of the page.
Plus, on the stereo station, you'll get to hear much of DJ Shred's set from Luke & Leroy last week, bless her and her mini-disc recorder...many of her tracks haven't been heard yet on Altrok Radio, and they're coming up at 11:30am and 11:00 pm Eastern. (She might sneak in something new, too...it's entirely up to her.)
December 29: If you're in the NYC area, you can be there while she constructs her next set for Altrok Radio, at Luke & Leroy. They're at 21 7th Avenue South in the West Village. She'll be spinning the wheels of steel that night from 10pm to Midnight (maybe even a bit earlier, too.)
The bands - not counting Shred's picks, for they're a closely-held secret - for today (12/1/2006) are:
